Adding the App

To add the Available app to your Zoom account, please follow these steps:

  1. Once logged in to Available, navigate to your account settings account settings page.
  2. Select "Connect Zoom account".
  3. You will then be redirected to Zoom's website to log in. Once you log in, review the permissions being requested and select "Allow".
  4. You will then be redirected back to Available. You can now use the app with Zoom.
  5. (Optional) To verify the app was successfully added, navigate again to your account page and underneath "Integrations" you should now see "Zoom is connected".

Usage

Once logged in to Available, you will see your Google calendar on your main app page. To make a new invite message with your availability, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the calendar to select a few time slots when you are available. (Note: you can only select future time slots) As you select time slots, you will see them being added in the side panel on the right (or in a popup panel if on mobile).
  2. Enter a title for your meeting.
  3. (Optional) Consider entering a recipient email address for your meeting. (If one is provided, they will be added as an attendee on the final calendar event. Their calendar provider may notify them of this.)
  4. (Optional) If you would like for there to be a video conferencing link on the final invite, then select either "Attach Google Meet link" or "Attach Zoom link". (Note: the conferencing link will not be generated until your recipient chooses a specific time slot from your invite)
  5. Select "Share Available Times" from the bottom of the page. The app will then generate an availability message for you to share.
  6. Select "Copy to clipboard" underneath the generated availability message.
  7. Paste this message into an email (or other rich text messenger) and send it to your recipient.
  8. Wait for the recipient to select the "Accept" link next to one of your availability slots.
  9. Once accepted, you will receive an email from Available notifying you that the event has been accepted and added to your calendar. You can then view the event on your Google calendar, along with any conferencing details or attendees.

Removing the App

To remove the Available app from your Zoom account, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for the "Available" app.
  3. Click the "Available" app.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Confirm that you wish to remove the app.
